MEDICAL

Leonard S. Girsh, MD. Director, Allergy, & Clinical Immunolo Medical College of Pennsylvania

"I am pleased to enclose one of my recent studies on the neurologic manifestations of allergies.
Your work on handwriting analysis is truly remarkable."

Many years ago, I was giving a lecture at the Sonesta Beach Hotel on Key Biscayne and a young man approached me and wrote his name on the white board provided in the lobby of the hotel.
He wrote his name which was PHILLIP. Since there were many people in the room wishing to have their writing analyzed, I said, "I have something important to tell you which is private ...could you come back at 9PM." He did and I asked him if he had any problems with his heart or lungs. He was quiet and said I'll be right back. Please wait. I did and he returned with a very fine looking elderly gentleman. The well-dressed elderly man asked me to repeat what I said. I did.

I said to the man, I asked the younger man if he had any difficulty with his heart or lungs. At this point the elderly man pulled out a card that said Leonard S. Girsch, M.D. and explained that he was the man's father and what in his handwriting showed this problem.

I pointed out that the way he wrote the loops in the upper part of his P, H, L had a slight dent or crick which to me indicated some difficulty in the upper chest area.

Dr. Girsh told me his son Phillip just got out of the hospital for a collapsed lung and that my work was amazing.

He then sent me an article he wrote about milk toxicity and dyslexia.

It was a profound experience I will always remember.
